Zikura College is an education institution established in Gn. Fuvahmualah since 2015. While the college has played a vital role for creating affordable and accessible alternatives to higher studies, there is an increasing demand by the community for the college to cater to the shortage of vocational skills in the community.

In response to this need, Zikura College approached the Atmosphere Foundation seeking financial support to train individuals in various vocations in high demand in the community. And we have committed to support 20 students of any age to be trained in carpentry, housekeeping, bakery, and computer programming. The training program is designed to meet the standards of Certificate Level 3 accreditation at the Maldives Qualification Authority. In addition to acquiring technical skills, participants also receive personal development coaching and English language upgrading lessons. The program commenced in September 2022 and is expected to be completed in March 2023.
