For ten days, fifteen participants worked through the basics of sewing while also exploring how these skills might grow into small businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">The machines used during the training were already part of the community, previously provided to the Maldives Women\u2019s Association by the Pakistani High Commission. With guidance from trainers, participants practised measuring, cutting, and stitching simple items, becoming more confident with each finished piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Alongside the sewing lessons, the workshop introduced the practical side of entrepreneurship.
