Impact for us is both numerical and qualitative: changes in people\u2019s lives, in local systems, and in community resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this page you will find headline metrics and examples of how change is experienced on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impact in numbers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We group our indicators into two areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>People<\/strong> \u2013 individuals directly engaged in our work:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teachers trained and supported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children participating in learning and enrichment activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Young people involved in skills, mentoring, or leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community members attending workshops or awareness sessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Community<\/strong> \u2013 changes at island or atoll level:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communities and islands with active projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local organisations supported through capacity building.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community facilities and shared spaces strengthened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environmental sites where conservation or restoration is underway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Figures are updated as projects are launched, expanded, or completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To complement metrics, we share:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Stories from the field<\/strong> \u2013 experiences from teachers, students, youth, and community members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Case studies<\/strong> \u2013 focused looks at specific projects and approaches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Partner perspectives<\/strong> \u2013 reflections from councils, agencies, and organisations we work with.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These insights help explain how and why change happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning and improvement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Impact is an ongoing process. We regularly review results, share learning with partners, and use evidence to adjust or scale programmes.
